TTV Photography and Me
In my endless quest to not get bored with things I am always looking for new ways to spice things up a bit. My latest trick is called TTV photography, which stands for “through the viewfinder”. What this process entails is taking an older style camera (mine is a Kodak Duaflex, produced between 1947 and 1950) and using a digital camera through the viewfinder of the old camera.
Why would you want to do this?
Rolling Stone Trivia
Pretty much anybody that knows me can tell you that I like to brag about my music knowledge, both old and new. While taking a peek at the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine I noticed a quiz called the Almost-Impossible Rock and Roll Quiz. I started reading through the questions and then realized that there was an online version. According to Rolling Stone,
You may know the original title of Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All, but are you sure you can name the final retail cost of Tom Petty’s 1981 album Hard Promises? Challenge yourself to four decades of the trickiest, weirdest and most off-the-wall trivia questions ever in our fifty-eight question quiz, and tabulate your own rock & roll IQ.
So, I challenge you to take the quiz and post your score as a comment on this site. So you know what you have to shoot for my score was 34 which classifies me as a Whiz… but I might need to spend more time reading the liner notes.
What are you waiting for? Take the quiz! Add your score.
Two Point Oh
I have decided to roll out the second version of my latest update. You may notice that it keeps some of the same visual elements of the previous version but the layout is a bit different. This time we are working with the Grid Focus theme by Derek Punsalan of 5thirtyone.com. I have always been a fan of his work. As always, I did some minor modification to the default theme but the overall layout is similar. I hope you enjoy it.
